The olive, botanical name Olea europaea, meaning 'European olive', is a species of small tree or shrub in the family Oleaceae, found traditionally in the Mediterranean Basin, with wild subspecies found further afield in Africa and western Asia

The olive tree, Olea European, is an evergreen tree or shrub native to Mediterranean Europe, Asia, and Africa. It is short and squat and rarely exceeds 8–15 m (25–50 ft) in height.
'Pisciottana', a unique variety comprising 40,000 trees found only in the area around Pisciotta in the Campania region of southern Italy,
often exceeds this, with correspondingly large trunk diameters

Low air humidity is a contributing factor to olive growth, and the tree can survive on relative humidity

Feed
(4-7 kg) of nitrogen - phosphorus - potassium fertilizer 11-15-15 per tree once or twice a year.
The most suitable period is during fall and winter in non-irrigated trees.

From an altitude of 0 m above sea level and gradually reaching very high altitudes,
but the most suitable places for olive cultivation are places with an altitude of 400-700 m above sea level.
The growth rate of olive trees is 30 cm to 50 cm per season

The wild olive tree is native to Asia Minor, where it is found in abundance and forms dense forests.
